Thanks to James and Shumpei for making this weekend so wonderful! Had a lot of fun, and when i looked back through the photos i took this weekend i have to say it showed some of the best Tokyo has to offer….If you only had one weekend to spend in Tokyo and did what i did this weekend i think you’d have had a good run….and walked away satisfied! It shows the weird and wonderful world that myself and 13 million other people share (in Tokyo that is)! Of course there is a lot more out there…luckily i have lots more weekends to come!

Just been catching up on your last few posts Laura! That long weekend you had out looks like so much fun…are the dressed up girls ‘Harajuku Girls’ or are they from someplace else? I love the fashion! It’s so crazy! And your night out at Karaoke until 4am sounded like a scream (literally? hehe)! Can we do that too when I get there? Can we, can we, can we? Hehe. Oh, one thing I don’t want to do while I’m there though is experience ‘the big one’! So if you could hold that off, that would be great! ;o)
Oh by the way, the Cold Rock in Capalaba closed down on the corner (unless it has moved somewhere else in Capalaba?) but I know there is one on Oxford Street in Bulimba! And I think there IS a Starbucks at Capalaba now (they’re multiplying!)…and like three Subways. And all these new fruit and vege shops and a butcher called “Bernie the Butcher” at Capalaba Central(no, I don’t like the name either!). But then the price of ‘niku’ and ‘kudamono’ and ‘yasui’ or is it ‘yasai’(?) here would be quite different than in Nihon I would suppose!
    Love, Mandy. xox

It looks like a great weekend – love the mosaic! Here is the generator thing I was telling you about to make it quicker next time :)
