Come hither…
Last week was my friend Nicole’s 21st birthday and last night she celebrated with some friends in Shibuya at TGI Fridays. Nicole is in Japan for the year teaching English to kids, but her and i go way back. We met when we were 12 and starting highschool at LHC…
Before our semi-formal in 2001 we went shopping for dresses on the Gold Coast. Unfortunately didn’t find anything, but Nicole and i picked out two really ugly dresses and tried them on and another friend, Dani, snapped a picture. This picture is now famous, well at least amoungst some of those that know us both, and it was later donned “the come hither photo” by Dani’s mum (i think!!)
Since that day, we have tried to capture that look many times, and i have to say we have not yet been successful. But here is a Japanese style come hither shot, complete with peace signs, taken last night. Beside it is a photo of the original*
*no scanner and no digital copy of it means that this is a photo taken of a photo…….so quality is not so good!
