Infectious…

Sorry no posts recently. Got really sick. Still really sick. But at least today I have enough energy to sit in front of the computer for 5 minutes and update you all quickly on what is going on.

What I thought was just Asthma turned out to be a chest, throat & ear infection. Luckily I now have national health insurance! YAY! So when I went to the doctor on Friday I had a chest x-ray, a consultation and was given four types of drugs to take over the next 10 days, all for less than 20 aussie dollars. What a bargain hey?

Temperature has being going up and down, and so far the highest has been 39.7. I was slightly crazy at that time.

Now after sitting here for 5 minutes I am exhasted and need to have another sleep. Might be able to write more later.

Aww, Lulu, it sucks to feel sick.

It’s always bad when the weather is all over the place, it always makes everything so much more yucky.

Feel better soon! Hooray for health insurance!

  2. I meant my temperature was 39.7 but the weather here is also crazy which I think is what made me crazy in the first place.

  3. and also what made me sick…

  4. Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well – get better soon (all the more time to enjoy the telly I guess!)

  5. girl you gotta stop licking the mics in those karaoke rooms – will do it to you everytime!

if it makes you feel any better, i was sick for about the first year or so of my time here – but now i can happily say (while touching wood) that i could lick the seat of a shibuya station toilet and be immune to pretty much everything hanging out there! The longer you stay the tougher you get!

Please take it easy – ginger, garlic and absolutely no junk – sorry sis…get well

  6. Enny- I was upset by what TV had to offer me when all I had the energy to do was watch it (Although on Saturday I didn’t even have the energy to do that) but Monday night is my favourite night for TV!!

Sushi- Those Karaoke mics are a killer! I have no idea why I am so sick. It sucks. My immune system did get very good after teaching 1-5 year olds for 6 months and then this came along. Maybe I gave up teaching too soon. I was sick a lot the first year I lived here and then I made the mistake of going home. If i had stayed perhaps I would not have this problem!! The idea of licking a Shibuya station toilet seat made me gag…please do not ever do that Sushi!

Thanks for the well wishes girls!
