The Beatles Boy…

Walking past the train station tonight I heard a guy singing a Beatles cover. I stopped and was surprised to see he was Japanese because honest to god he was so good at both singing and playing the guitar. I have never heard anyone sing any Beatles covers as well as this guy (and I am the kind of girl that goes to the pub to listen to the bands!)

If I wasn’t so in love with Shumpei then I would have asked him out!!

He is playing outside the station again next week and I have marked it in my diary. (He also had original songs and did some Japanese covers but it was The Beatles covers that got me hooked!!!)

Ps: Okinawa post later, but for the record I had the BEST time!!!!

  1. Hey there. I found your blog through Adam’s. I wanted to know more about the chick who so casually said that guys on the train in Japan just go the grab. :)

I also just wanted to point out the reason your old Blogger account says you’re a Pisces when in fact you’re an Aquarian: You’ve typed your birthdate in as an Australian would (DD/MM/YY), instead of how an American would (MM/DD/YY). Blogger is an American-based site, so if you swap your month and day around, it’ll fix the error.

Perhaps you already knew this and were keeping it that way for laughs, but I thought I’d help out.

    Cheers.

  2. Hi Lulu! Reading your post has brought back memories of Japan, not that I heard a guy sing the Beatles, but the endless travel I did on the trains. Sigh… I miss it already!

  3. Finding someone that does good covers of the Beatles is a rare, rare thing.
