A hair in James’ Obento…

I have nothing interesting to write about as my weekend was fairly quiet although had dinner with Alex & Ei-chan on Friday who have recently gotten together and are so adorable….Plus I was happy to introduce Ei-chan to buritos (He was happily surprised because when he used to visit me as a student a couple of years ago all I ever made for him was pizza or pasta…Don’t get me wrong I could cook other things back then but they were the easiest…)

My friend James was here Saturday and he found a hair in his Obento…I know he reads my blog so I thought I’d bring it up again because I want to know if he gags while reading this post. I didn’t actually see the hair…and I was not allowed to bring it up because he kept gagging. So James….haha there was a hair in your Obento box (Obento box is like a lunch box that usually you buy at the supermarket or conbini usually with some meat or fish, rice and then either a salad or something gross and pickled. I am not a huge fan……I am less of a fan now that I know there was a hair in one (Also it was a classy obento box also…expensive one from lonlon!)…….GROSS!!!

It reminded me of that story about how someone found a human finger in their can of coke?!

Anyone got any crazy gross food stories…Please don’t make them too gross because then I will gag…Which is never fun!

Ps: I apologise for the recent lack in decent posts…I don’t really have much to say and while my blog has always been kind of dull I now seem to have no inspiration….any hints?? Maybe all the coffee is doing my head in…

Is James the one I liked from your Flickr photos? I can’t remember now.

I found a huge black hair in some noodles I got from uni once, so gross. I can’t even imagine what I’d do if I found a finger or something. Food can be so gross sometimes.

I am in the same boat about ordinary blogging. I think yours are still exciting though!! Mine are so boring because I don’t do anything exciting anymore, things should pick up in a couple of weeks though.

We heard you the first time Jen :P hehe (is that your delightful wireless playing up again on you?)

I saw a newspaper article about a kid who found a battered chicken head in his KFC meal once. I would have written it off as hogwash if I hadn’t seen the photo. It even LOOKED like a chicken head (despite the stuff they put on the outside) so I have NO IDEA how it got past the staff in the resturant who cooked the stuff (let alone the factory where they make the chicken)… I mean, surely someone would realise?! *sings to the playskool tune* “There’s a head in there…”

Poor James… You’ll have to let us know if he did gag reading your post after all heh.

I think its a bit boring in all our blog worlds at the moment. Some one have relationship dramas, or a long lost twin come back from the dead, or get pregnant to your brothers cousin or something… Oh, wait. This isn’t Days of Our Lives is it? lol.

ANY hair that’s not attached to a person grosses me out. Let’s not mention hair on soap!!

Jen- Don’t worry about it. I will delete one of you comments later so that people don’t think you are crazy….haha! I doubt typepad is turning on you…sometimes comments just go twice…If it appeared 3 or 4 times then we could probably say that your computer is posessed…

Did you eat the noodles after found the hair? I couldn’t do it…but James ate his obento box which is yucky…

Deb- EWWWWWWWWW………That is disgusting. Does Australia macca’s have fried chicken? Or do they still just have chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets here are ok but they are not the same with out sweet and sour sauce but now I am scared about finding chicken heads. I shouldn’t be eating macdonalds anything though so maybe this will keep me away. How did nobody notice that? I know that Macdonalds in bali has chicken and rice on the menu…and no nuggets (Nuggets are usually my favourite macca’s food)

Chickybabe- Hair on soap, or any kind of communal shower freaks me out. Going on school camp was always disgusting… It makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Hmm, I havent had maccas in years but I dont think they do have fried chicken - only the nuggets I think, altho hungry jacks was doing the chicken wings for a while there (and I only know this because they kept playing ad after ad on teevee and i HATED the guy in the ad. He was a tool. Irrated the SHIT outta me).

I second what you said about communal showers… ew!
