Autumn…

Well my test is over and I think I did OK (I hope). I went and had dinner and wine at Cat’s on Sunday night after we had finished and it was so good to have a night where I was not studying.

I can not provide you with a photo of Autumn leaves that I have taken since I have been to busy studying. But tomorrow I am hoping to go to Kamakura to see some pretty leaves and nice shrines!! So I might actually have some good photos…We don’t really have a proper Autumn in Brisbane…with maple leaves and changing colours of leaves so it really is quite pretty here.

I am job hunting and had a promising interview today for a kids school which sounds good. Pay is good, holidays are good and the guy that interviewed me was lovely. Plus staff is mainly Japanese, Canadian and Australian and I get on really well with all those nationalities. Actually I do, but that wasn’t a thought I had. The guy that interviewed me said it…I thought it was strange but he said that Canadians and Australians usually get on really well and work well together and it seems to work well in there school. So yeah, I am in with a chance cos I am an Aussie!!

I am still looking and applying for other jobs but haven’t heard about anything else which is kind of sad. I really want to go back to work because I am pretty bored…There is only so much internetting and TV-ing you can do. Plus I can’t do anything really exciting cos I don’t have the money cos I don’t have a job….Don’t even have anything interesting to blog about but I still spend a lot of time reading everybody else’s blogs!

So everyone list their favourite blog so that I can go check it out…Am thinking my blog links need and update so am on the hunt for some good reading material!

Best of luck finding a job, I think there are a lot out there if you are happy teaching English. Definately a good idea to work with other Aussies and Canadians though, I have lots of good American friends but working with them can sometimes be a little urusai…

So when do you find out how you did on the test? I bet you kicked arse.

I’m pretty sure you already read any of the blogs that I think are super rad. In fact, maybe I’ll trawl YOUR blogroll for a new read…

Good luck on the job front!
