Done…

New haircut…Well here is a picture that I took myself in the bathroom 10 minutes ago (with the hideous fluro lighting…plus I tried to get a bit of a side view so that you could see the hair but it didn`t really work out…and there is only so many attempts you can try before you start to think taking a photo of your haircut to put on your blog is insane). It just got a cut and style, but it will look a bit different once I put product in it myself but I am happy with how it turned out. It is the shortest I have been for awhile so my mum will be happy (she prefers my hair this short, or shorter…) It is strange not having any colour in it…all the old colour has basically faded out but at least some of the colour tone is left. Will dye it again maybe in May when I am back in Australia or I might go the place I went to today. The guy that did my hair was really nice and friendly so I would go back…Have had some other recommendations for places as well, so I might shop around until I find someone I am really happy with….Because a girl really needs to have a hairdresser close by instead of going once a year in Australia :-)

Going out for dinner (seafood!!!) with Jen tonight. Suzy was meant to be in too but has a deadline, poor thing. But I have arranged to meet her on Friday for a crafty/coffee/catch-up day. It is freezing today and I think I will need a hat (Oh know it will ruin my hair…ha ha) and scarf when I brave the cold to head to Shibuya later. They say it won`t snow in Tokyo this year because it will not get cold enough so might need to head out of town to catch some snow this year or early next year. When I was here a couple of years ago Tokyo had one or two days which saw the most snow in about 15 years for Tokyo. It was fantastic…

Lastly, signed my contact at new school today. It is going to be good, I can tell!

Ps: Late addition~ Just read Suzy`s blog and she had a link to this site which led her to here. Instructions on using Japanese style toilet….Must see, So funny. I am not sure if it was meant to be ore not but Suzy is right, this should be sent to all visiting Japan. Thanks Suzy for providing the links!

    I like the hairstyle!

And I thought the movie was about using the controls on Japanese toilets! These need instructions too for the first time traveller. :P

    Lookin’ hot!!

And congratulations X muchly on your new job! I think you made the right decision to accept the second one, and it’s understandable that the first school would be pissed off…

So are you, like, a teacher? hehe (is that a really dumb question?!) Do you teach english?

Deb- Thanks. What a lovely compliment. I haven`t coloured it recently but with the flash on the camera it comes out looking redder than it is at the moment. I want to dye it but will wait til I get some more cash together.

    Boysenberry^ Thanks mate…

Chicky babe~ Isn`t the little movie hilarious though?? My way of using high-tech toilets here is not to touch anything….I do not want water shooting up where it shouldn`t be going

Mum- I replied to your email. Will speak to you later today or tomorrow.

Chesty Larue- I have had my hair fairly short since 15…It changes style and colour a lot but this is fairly normal for me. It isn`t exactley what I wanted but it still turned out gd so I am happy.

Jac- Thanks babe. I am a teacher at a preschool basically and in the morning everything is run how a preschool is run…ie art and craft, outdoor play, reading books, music and movement, free time etc…Basically it is the same as an aussie preschool/kindy except most of the children are not native speakers but everything is done in English. In the afternoon this school runs ESL type classes for older children for practising reading and writing and other stuff. So yeah basically I am an English teacher…lol. The afternoon classes, I will have one after about a month but the other afternoons I have to do preperation and lesson plans.

Mars- I am the 18th dude, you are 19th right? I say I am the cusp because some places say last day of Aquarius is 18th some say it is 19th…which is where it gets confusing. I was born 1985…Do you swing both ways when reading horoscopes and choose the better one like me?

Sushi- Thanks. Have a fab trip home!!

Why am I always so late to comment, I must be losing my touch :(

I am SO wickedly envious of your natural hair color!! The cut look fabulous, but I could never tamper with the color, you are so lucky!

    Very cute!

hmmm….18th…well, you can continue to have that date because you are correct and i’m on the 19th. i usually read aquarius, i find it’s only american publications that make me a piecies. i’m tipping we weren’t switched at birth (unless your mother gave birth to an unusually huge (yet adorable) baby) being as i seem to be 4 years older than you. OMD i’m old! (yet amazingly immature)

Nice cut – cute pic. I went to a Japanese toilet today where firstly the lid opened automatically, then it started singing birdsongs, then it flushed as I stood up and closed itself. I felt useless.

Jen- You used to always be first to comment…but maybe it is because you tend to blog in the morning while I blog at night or late afternoon so maybe we are just missing each other. hehe. I swear my natural colour is not actually properly dipicted in the photo…but thanks anyway. My natural colour really is just boring brown. Thanks.

Mars- My mother did mention I was quite large when she took me home from the hospital and they thought I was really advanced to be walking so early. hehe. You were born in Vic right? I was QLD baby. I tell people I am Aquarius (cos the word is nicer) but I tend to have traits of both star signs.

Sar- The toilets that close and shut automatically scare me. It is like the are posessed…I would have felt useless (and thought the toilet was haunted too) where were you though to get such a nice post toilet?? Also the birdsongs…were the like train door closing bird songs or different?
