Day in the life…

Ages and ages ago I promised I would take photos of my walk to school…and at school. A day in the life type thing….I actually took the photos soon after I was asked by then I got hit on the head with a glass jug, had my birthday and then went skiing, in otherwords I had more interesting blogworthy moments to write about.

Anyway I didn`t take that many photos but I took a few. Mainly of the street leading up to my school cos it is kind of interesting all the stuff along there but I actually think they are all quite dull!!! However perhaps Deb will like them (She is the one that asked for the day in the life photos!). I should of done a better job so eventually I will do a proper day in the life (This is not a promise…It is a maybe!!!)

Here is a couple, but there are a couple more here too

Day in the life 1 Day in the life 4 Day in the life 6 Day in the life 11 Day in the life 14 Day in the life 16

Enny, did you notice the store named after you???

I quite enjoy the walks to school. Just because it means I know I will get at least a 25 minutes of walking in everyday (About 12 mins there and 12 mins back!) Plus we walk with the kids to the park and run around.

We are coming into Spring now which is great. Spring is my favourite time to be in Japan. The flowers are so beautiful and the weather is mild but usually nice during the day. Take today for instance….we are home at the apartment but we really should of taken the day to go on a picnic or something because the weather is so nice!!!

Cherry blossom season will likely start early this year since it hasn`t been a cold winter. Ume blossoms are already out, and some of the less well known flowers are starting to bloom too (Less well known means I do not know the names!!!) It won`t be long until the sakura are blooming too!!!

I will definately have to check Manbo Enny out when I’m there (28 April - 7 May)!

The lickie finger kid is the cutest I’ve seen in a while too - I really liked this photo post idea =o)

You’ve reminded I’m yet to catalogue my Japan photos!

Any idea when cherry blossom season might be this year? I have a friend who is thinking of going there over Easter break.

Jen- My old kindy had the same set too! It is a popular one!!! I will one day do a better day in the life but this one will do for now!!! You should do it too!!!

Steph- Thanks Steph!!! The kids i work with are really adorable!!! Some of them will be leaving end of March which will be sad!!! Some will go on to Japanese kindergarten for a year before primary school. But luckily most of them will still be coming for afternoon classes so I`ll still get to see them.

Enny- I arrive back in Japan on the 5th so we should try to catch up on the 6th which is a sunday perhaps!!! If your going to be in the Tokyo area. Are you getting excited?? Your going to Thailand too, lucky thing!!

ChickyBabe~ It is definitely going to be early this year, might even be all over in Tokyo by the end of March or beggining of April. No sign of them yet but I still think it is going to be early. If you friend heads North she might be able to catch some, it always happens a little later the further North you go!! When is Easter this year??

    Sounds great!

We have to confirm with out friend, but our current plan (of our constantly changing plans) are that we get ourselves to Tsukuba from Tokyo airport, stay there for a few days, *hopefully* head to Kyoto with our friend and then we’ll go back to Tokyo while he heads back to Tsukuba.

I’m hoping he takes us to see the Hirijuku girls on the 29th ;o)
