You’re from Brisbane? Did I already know that? We lived in Brisbane (first in Indooropilly and then in Nundah) for two years. If I had a Life List I would definitely put “Go back and visit Brisbane and the Gold Coast for at least a month.” and “Take daughters to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary” they would be in heaven!
Laura
That’s a good one! I should get on that one day… maybe soon?!
60 should not be too hard - I made gnochhi once when I was really hungover, and it was still pretty good.
In case you hadn’t noticed from my Facebook, I strongly recomend number 66.
106 would be on my list too, though I would scrap Pole Dancing… it just made me feel dirty! Though perhaps you could do it for your Hens Night when you cross off getting married :o)
Now would be a good time to start 116 - will be harder while you’re here I imagine, and New Years tend to bring New Habits.
And I have the perfect pair of little black heels - if you’re a size 8 I will send them to you as they just don’t fit!
I think you can get 161 off the net - and do you think 165 will happen?! :o)
165. Smoke pot with my mum
that one rocks.
i’ve made a list of things i want to do in my life, but it’s nowhere as creative or as adventurous as yours!! whenever you complete a task, you should blog it
ganbareee
That’s a good list
You did a great job!
I like the perm idea, if I had enough hair I’d get a big perm with lots of tiny, tight curls. I love really curly, wild hair, it looks amazing!
The competition thing is also pretty easy. A couple of years ago I made it my resolution to win a competition and it’s rather amazing how simple it is if you make a point of entering them
That is a great list! It’s a really good combination of big and small things.
I totally recommend climbing Fuji. I am the biggest wimp, and I really didn’t enjoy the experience much at all when we were doing it, but it’s beautiful at the top and I felt very proud afterwards.
Maybe you can do a post at the end of this year and report back on how you are going?
woah that is a long list…quality and quantity. I can help you with at least one of those things honey! You got the hula, I’ll get the hoops!
There are quite a lot of the things on your list that I want to do as well!! It’s quite scary actually!! I think we may be quite similiar…. lol!!
Wow what a great list… I have to admit you’ve give me some ideas as well!!!
I feel inspired!
I truly hope you can get to do all of them or more!
Glad to hear you had a good Christmas/New Years even though it was without Shun! Hopefully you’ll both have a great one together next year back home. You must be getting excited to go back for a year!!
When you get back I’ll probably be in Niigata and not toooo far from Kanto so we’ll def. have to try and meet up then!
HI Laura,
It was great meeting you the other day!
Your life list is cool! You’ve inspired me to want to do some of those things too! What’s No. 131? What does EFT stand for? The first thing that came to mind was Electronic Fund Transfer, but I have a feeling that’s not it! Agh! I’ve been at work too much!
Excellent list Lulu. I am particularly fond of #154! : ) I’d love to learn to play one as well.
A wonderful and inspiring list,Lulu. The world is your oyster - no need to ever stop. searching for its pearls however long it takes
Some of those travel locations are still on my list but I intend to make them still (apart from climbing Mt Fuji - looking at it would be enough for me
I loved this! I want to know how to make pasta like Jamie too. And see Ireland. And invent something. And take a photography class… okay. I will stop now.
Laura- Yep born and bred in Brisbane! I lived mainly on the south side though in the redlands and in the bayside area!! I took Shumpei to Lone Pine Sanctuary and he loved it! I am sure your daughters would love it too!!!
Enny- I think when I return to Japan I will get a bread maker….I have always wanted to make my own bread. The fast food thing will be hard, especially since If I work late I don`t cook every night. And I do think 165 will happen one day!
Yuki- It is going to happen one day!
Jen- I think I might try to do the competition thing when I am in Australia from July…I don`t really know how to go about it here. I have always wanted to get a perm…I adore curly hair….If my hair was longer I would get just the ends done…They do amazing perm type things here in Japan!
Thanks for inspiring me to write my life list Jen!
Suzy- I think I will do a six month update or something perhaps?!?!?! It is going to take me a while to do everything on the list though!!! Plus I keep adding to the original in my diary! Maybe next time im in Sydney you can help me with number 23?!?!?!
Sushi- I am so going to take you up on your offer! You and Jen are my inspirations for hoola hooping! Will mail you!
Nay- You should write one too! It was a lot of fun writing it! I think because you me and Sara are in similar situations that we have similar dreams!
Sara- Thanks! Definitely on for the meet up! I totally recommend writing your own list it was great!
Katie- Was great meeting you too mate. It was a shame we couldn`t chat longer, but next time I am in Aust. I will bring Shun and we can go out for dinner somewhere! EFT stands for emotional freedom tecniques. I first read about it here http://galadarling.com/article/eft and some of her follow up article…you should definitely check it out.
Gina- I know I would love to learn! But I would settle for holding one and having a go!!! I love them!
Sueblimely- I have so many other places I want to travel but I will stick with the ones of the list to begin with! It all comes down to money!!!!!
I have seen MT Fuji several times and I know a lot of people have climbed it. I want to try, even though I will probably die going up! Maybe summer in 2009 I will give it ago!
Brandy- You should write a list too! It was super fun! I read around on some other peoples list too which gave me a lot of inspirations!!!
Crikey that list makes me exhausted just reading it LOL.
Good luck with it
WHOA Nelly! lol.
Good luck with all that!
