Wonderful, exciting news. I have been meaning to come over and comment since we got back from holidays in Australia, and this is a great post to do it on! I had a very practical wedding proposal too - not traditionally romantic, but no less exciting and really, the most important thing is that you're making an major decision for all the right reasons, not because of some huge gesture. Enjoy all the wedding planning. ;) I guess there's an added degree of difficulty with two countries and cultures but its all worth it in the end. I always looked at as creating a wonderful memory of an amazing day that you'll have for the rest of your lives together. Congratulations, Lulu! Wonderful, exciting news.
