I was following link after link today on some of the blogs I read and came across this site which links to some of the top Aussie female bloggers!
I had seen the little pink banner on quite a few of the sites I have been reading lately and I thought i might find some other blogs that I liked…anyway, I was making my way down the list and guess what….there was my blog at number 89…It was a huge shock!!!! I am not exactly sure how they figure it all out, but it goes by something known as alexa ranking (and I have no idea what that is!) and a technorati ranking….and then they merge the two together!
Anyway, so now I am going to put the cute little pink Australia in my side bar! I think they first check your blog if someone nominates you, but I am not sure, but thank you to whoever it was that nominated me if that is what it took to get on the list!!!
I am still in a little bit of shock!!!!!!

I am just a twenty something Aussie girl living in Chiba, Japan with my Japanese husband trying to make sense of the crazy Japanese world we live in! We welcomed our first son in December 2009 (Noah) and a second son in January 2011, 2 months premature (Shion). I am working hard at raising them to be confident, bilingual, happy kids!

Congratulations! I’m going to have to go take a look at some of the others too, I spent a semester in Australia when I was in college and loved it. I cannot wait to go back again someday, but in the meantime I’ll try to keep up with some Australian blogs.
