Cherry blossom season was always my favourite time of year in Japan as well. In fact this week is the first time I have genuinely missed Japan because I know how awesome this time of year is. It is also alot warmer than London at the mo- we have had snow over the past couple of days and it is in fact snowing as I type this!!!

Thanks for that blog link, I checked it out. We will be going to Perth for two weeks so I think the weather will be nice and am packing accordingly but you just know this will be the one freak year that it snows in Perth or something bizarre!! I haven`t been to Oz for 8 years now so am looking forward to it!!!

These are fabulous shots, especially the first one with the building as a backdrop.

I was supposed to be in Japan for Easter (to see cherry blossom) but unfortunately circumstances changed. Please tell me it wasn't due to be in full bloom till a couple of weeks later.

Thanks Lulu! Just realised I wrote sherry blossom instead of cherry! Haha. Should have checked my comment before submitting!

I just sent you an email with the award picture for your blog. Let me know if you don't get it.

Thank you!!! Yes Sakura is the word for cherry blossom, sorry I should of mentioned that! We don`t have them in Australia I don`t think but I know that they do have some in Germany and America (And I am sure many other places) but I think seeing them here is magical because there is this whole culture behind it! It really is my favourite time of the year....

Lovely photos! I especially like the first one. Is sakura the word for sherry blossom? They are such pretty flowers, I've always thought it would be great to see them in Japan.

Enjoy the sunshine!
