Wordless Wednesday #4…

Can`t find my USB camera cord in the mess in our apartment at the moment….It is probably in a box somewhere?!

So here are three photos from my flickr account that people have favourited the most….all from the same day, same camera, taken in Harajuku! They are not the best photos I have ever taken or anything but for some reason `Harajuku girls` are popular I guess!!! They were all taken two years ago!!

Hmmm. If it’s Wordless Wednesday, are we allowed use words in our comments??
Beautiful wedding dress by the way. But wait til you go dress shopping, you’ll know as soon as you put the right one on. And nice Harajuku girl photos, they are soooo weird though eh? Harajuku is one of the only places in Japan where I feel like I don’t stand out and actually get less stares.

I’ve seen the second one already - the internet is a small world! I google imaged “Harajuku” after seeing it on Americas Next Top Model.

Who knew that months later I’d be visiting your blog.

You know you are getting old, when you look at the photos and all you can think is “What on earth does her mother think about all this??” (Particularly the first one - I can understand the Freaky/sexy look but the baby one? ewwww!)

    snapcatch: Thanks for stopping by!!!

Amor: Those Japanese people are a little less conservative than most! But japanese people usually do have an individual sense of style!

Christelle: Thanks! There are always so many foreigners on the bridge in Harajuku that It is easy to blend in! hehe! Actually my two best friends (James and Cat) are both half Japanese and they say they don`t get stared at all unless they are with me. I guess I stick out. Shun & I get stared at lot as well, wherever we go but I am kind of used to it (and he doesn`t even notice!) I like Harajuku, it is great for photos! Not just on the bridge but in the park and in meiji jingu. Great for people watching!

Kelley: I think she had completely black eyes. Special contacts that covered part of the white part? They are a little weird….most of them are not even 16 yet. I do wonder what there parents think!

Jen; Thankyou! Hope to see you again!

Enny: You will be back one day! For now you can look at lots of photos. The bridge was packed on Sunday cos it was Earth Day in Yoyogi park!

Guera: Yes, I see a lot of strange people in Japan! I liked middle photo with the girls taking photos of themselves!

Marita: Wow, it is a small world! That is really weird! There are lots of good photos of Harajuku girls on Flickr!

Vicky: Most of these kids travel with mini suitcases and will usually not leave the house wearing the get-up but instead change and do make-up in Harajuku station bathroom! I do wonder if all the parents of Harajuku girls know what they get up to on the weekend!

I loved the way they’re happy to pose for photographs! It’s the one place I’d make sure I’d visit again, on a Sunday.

I’ve been to Harajuku a few times before and I like the people watching too. Nothing surprises me while there. They do look a lot different then the people near where I live though, he he he.: ) I like the last pic with you in it. You look really cute Lulu!!! : )

You look beautiful! NOT overweight!! But I wish you good luck as you seem like you’re trying to be healthy and happy… that is awesome no matter what the scale says. You’ll look gorgeous on your wedding even if you don’t lose weight. Your face is super young-looking and pretty as well as you have cool style. Even if you gained another 5 kg you’d still be a really pretty girl.
