Today Dad and I went to Jimboomba to see some blue heeler pups and we made a decision and chose this beautiful little girl.
Introducing Abbey (As in Abbey Road). We will be able to bring her home on the 19th of July (The week after Shun arrives, so not one but two very exciting things to look forward to!)
It has been a long while since we have had a puppy, so there is so much to buy. It will be off to the pet shop next weekend I think to buy collars, beds, leashes, toys, food bowls, food etc etc. What else will we need? Any recommendations? I can`t wait til we bring her home.

I am just a twenty something Aussie girl living in Chiba, Japan with my Japanese husband trying to make sense of the crazy Japanese world we live in! We welcomed our first son in December 2009 (Noah) and a second son in January 2011, 2 months premature (Shion). I am working hard at raising them to be confident, bilingual, happy kids!

Ohhh What a cutie! Blue Heelers are the best! That’s the only type of dog i’ve i’ve had! I love her name too! I am so envious! I really wish I could have a puppy! I suggest lots of tennis balls! Blue Heelers love to chase things, so fetch is a favourite for them!
