Shumpei`s here…
Shumpei arrived safely on Saturday! And, when we got home he got down on one knee and said “marry me” and gave me the engagement ring featured in picture three!!! We choose it a couple of months ago but when I left Japan they were still making it- but now I can wear it everyday!!! You can`t see in the picture real well but it is a platinum ring with a white diamond and next to it is a small blue diamond. It is so pretty and I love it!
I promise a better update next time!!!

you guys look so cute! and happy! And the ring is gorgeous - it’s such a buzz to have it on your finger, isn’ it! I got my engagement ring a month before the wedding (haha) and the day before the wedding party in Japan. I couldn’t stop looking at it for days/weeks.

Katie- I tried to take a close up on my camera but it just doesn`t work! hehe! I will try again on the weekend. Because we took the photos with the camera on the mac that is why they are mirror imaged- But the ring is on my left finger! I hadn`t noticed they were mirror imaged until you mentioned it!
Nay- I will tell Shun you said hi! The Wednesday night when Naoki arrives sounds good! Thursday`s arn`t usually good for me but I could swing Thursday that week if Naoki is too tired on Wednesday. Have a safe trip- You will be with him soon! Yay! Oh and the application photobooth on my mac takes the photos- there is heaps of different backgrounds etc! It is heaps of fun! It took my profile picture too!
TJ-in Japan- Thanks for stopping by! I read your blog all the time! We choose the ring ages ago (well it seams like ages ago!) but it is so lovely to have it now. Always hard to explain to people you are planning a wedding and are engaged because the first thing they do is look at your ring finger. I got asked constantly to “show my ring” when I didn`t have it! I think some people thought I was making it up! hehe! I do keep looking at it though!
Mandy- I will update again soon I promise! We are picking Abbey up this weekend which will sure result in some cute picture blogging!! Shun and I have a meeting at the wedding venue on Friday too which might mean some more wedding planning blog related stuff! I will show you the ring in person when I see you next year and in the meantime if I get a good close up pic I will post it!
Katie- We were just mucking around last night when we took the pictures. There was about 20 photos taken all together but those were the best one!! Thanks!
