In case there is any confusion about how crazy my family is I thought I best upload a video.
Presenting my father and Abbey the amazing box jumping dog-I am pretty sure my dad will make a pretty awesome grandfather one day because he will behave like an absolute idiot in front of anyone and kids love that (and so does our dog!) Oh and by the way, despite still having some health concerns my dad is doing really well which is a weight off our shoulders!

I am just a twenty something Aussie girl living in Chiba, Japan with my Japanese husband trying to make sense of the crazy Japanese world we live in! We welcomed our first son in December 2009 (Noah) and a second son in January 2011, 2 months premature (Shion). I am working hard at raising them to be confident, bilingual, happy kids!

Wow! Just stumbled across your blog due to the name. Can’t believe how similar our situations are but in a reversed fashion.
