I heart tupperware…

I am quickly becoming a tupperware queen and have been to three tupperware parties since I have been back in Australia- one which I held myself with my mum just last Friday night. Due to my success as a tupperware party host I will be getting the following-

I think since I am now engaged I feel that I should start working on becoming a domestic goddess! Despite the fact Shun and I have lived together for more than 2 years and he already knows I am not a domestic goddess I still feel that owning tupperware might help me reach the goal of becoming one! Somehow though I doubt just owning tupperware will help me reach that status! But I live in hope…

I don`t have a glory box but I have decided that my tupperware collection will be the start of one…Maybe I should also start to collect teatowels, sheets and cute pillows in anticipation for married life! A lot of the tupperware I have purchased, I bought because it came in cute colours and we all know that tupperware goes through stages of cute colours and not so cute colours and well I didn`t want to wait to have kids and find out tupperware was going through a crappy colour stage so below is what I have also purchased. I don`t have it all yet though since some of it was only ordered on Friday. I need to buy a big box to send it all back to Japan!!!

So do you think I have too much tupperware? It might be entirely possible but at least I am well on the way to becoming more of a domestic goddess! Next step, purchasing an iron!

There is NO such thing as too much Tupperware!!!

Well you are definitely more a ‘domestic goddess’ than I am – jeez, I bought my tupperware from 100 yen shop, when and if need it… what does that say about me, lol! I do have an iron though – although it hasn’t been used once yet! I’m just waiting for the right chance… yep, I know, I’m kidding myself!

I agree wholeheartedly with Enny! I love to have tons of containers in all different sizes cos you never know when you’ll need one!! And because I’m addicted to baking cupcakes (as you know) I even have individual cupcake holders so you dont need to wrap up the cupcakes and mess up the icing!! Wicked!!!

As has been said, you can never have too much tupperware and love the stuff you have got.I have never been to a TW party and would love to go but don’t think they have them here in Japan….but you never know!

Enny- I also agree that you can`t have too much but that said we will be having another international move next year and all that tupperware will make packing a little difficult! will need to box and send it all!

Nay- I used to buy a lot of tupperware in Japan from the 100yen shop! And our cups, cutlery and wine glasses were from there too. I love the 100 yen shop and Daiso is definitely my friend. It is nice to have some good quality tupperware though- did you know it comes with a lifetime guarantee?! We do not own and iron and when ever Shun needed a proper shirt for work I would just take one to the drycleaners cos it would come back ironed….Luckily he doesn`t need suits for work very often1

Jessica- Cupcake tupperware boxes! That is awesome! Insprises me to make cupcakes. I must admit, the sandwich holders I have from tupperware are awesome and I use them all the time for lunch! I must admit the picnic set with the orange and yellow tupperware will be very useful because it has so many different sizes.

Marianne- I think they have tupperware in Japan but I am not sure if they do the party system?! I will look into it- I know they have it in a lot of countries. Perhaps I shall become a tupperware party lady!

    I love them!!
Too cute!! I love the popsicle holders!!

It looks perfect for a picnic!! Bring them up to Nagaoka for the fireworks!! We’ll be the most stylish group there ;)

Sara- Of course I am bring them to the fireworks!!!! I expect either you or Nay to be pregnant by then too by the way so that I can touch your bellies (cos I definitely ain`t going to be!)- I make a mean hummus too so I could pack hummus in one container, pita bread in the other and vegies in another.

I also make awesome pizzas with fetta cheese. Yum! Nay doesn`t eat cheese but she loves fetta (and she eats pizza- so melted cheese is ok!)

I would bring popsicles but I fear they would melt in the summer heat! But when you come to visit me in Chiba/Tokyo next summer we can make juice ones! Do you like pineapple juice? I love it!

An iron? Ummm you know I think the newer tupperware is just wash and use- no iron needed. ;)

Oh and I still have the tupperware icypole maker from when I was a kid. Wonder how many Daiso things will last that long?

I have half this stuff from TW party when took Shou home two years ago. I use the sandwhich boxes A LOT – for everything. One of them has umeboshi in it at the moment. Am liking the iceblock makers though. Very natsukashi. Will have to purchase some in Dec when go home. ‘Domestic Goddess’ – something we all strive for and never achieve. Do stock up on Tea-towels. Japan just doesn’t do them the same. Sheets too. Japan, or Kunimi and surrounding areas, very crap on linen.

    Think afro lulu is great!!

I am having TW envy looking at those pictures…especially the lunchbox set. It would be perfect for dd`s lunch!

    I like 1984 Lulu….very cool!

Heather- hehehe! I can`t believe your iceblock maker has lasted so long! A very good sign!!

Katy- That is a good idea, to stock up when you are home! I love love love the sandwich holders…they are great and I use them all the time!! Very good to know about the sheets! Actually because we had a bed instead of a futon I took some sheets with me a couple years ago- but you are so right about the tea towels! Will definitely stock up! If you can`t get the tupperware when you are home at Christmas time let me know and I could always order if and send it to you! October`s catalogue is all pink for breast cancer month!

Tigermama- Do they have tupperware where you are? Maybe you could start it up!!! I am in love with the little round boxes- perfect for crackers or lollies!

Don’t you think Tuppaware is like porn for woman? ha ha Ya gotta love it! My sister has the same salad bowl, sipper cups, sandwich box and plates as you. She also has the drink containers that you got as freebies. I don’t own any Tuppaware as yet because it hasn’t been in my budjet, but now that i’m an AO5 (Yes- I got a new job!!) I might invest in some. I love the ice-block makers! We had them as kids but ours were just plain clear plastic!

Katie- You got an AO5 job?! That is awesome!!!!!! Tupperware isn`t really in my budget but I just couldn`t resist! And I don`t have rent at the moment so it makes it a little easer. Nice to hear your sister has the same stuff- She must be very stylish! hehe!
