Thanks for the comments- I really do love my brother even if we do annoy each other a bit. I think I can still be a bit bossy at times and that is probably part of our problem!

I agree with Nay, my little brother will by 28 this year (I am 32) and we used to fight A LOT, but after I moved out of home – actually after we both moved out and were living on our own – away from the parents that is – we started getting along really well. He is a real estate agent now and does still sometimes pull the big real estant agent rant (god they love talking) but …

It definately gets better with age – when you can both talk about adult things you have both been through. Graduating (acutally still not adult – or at least I wasn’t ), first real job, rah rah.

When my brothers and sister were younger, we fought all the time – you wouldn’t believe how much. But now that we are older, I couldn’t imagine my life without them… trust me, it’s too difficult to lose one of them. Family is so important, and your lucky that you have a good relationship with your brother – even if its not perfect all of the time!

Btw, I didn’t comment on your post the other day about ” because it was a little too close to home – Naoki and I had just had our first BIG fight since we got married about money worries…

Money stress is horrible – worrying how you are going to live, plus be a stay at home mum, plus travel home every year is really worrysome. I’m normally pretty good with money, but Naoki is far better than me and although I can see in the near future, Naoki’s focus is for the ‘future’ future… sometimes our opinions clash a little, although, ultimately, I know that Naoki’s opinion is right…
