Along with missing Japan a lot lately I have found myself missing my old students a lot also. I miss the kids so much and by the time I go back to Japan, while I won`t be returning to teach at that school I don`t think, I am definitely going to have to go for a visit. A lot of my kiddies will have moved on by then though….

I am just a twenty something Aussie girl living in Chiba, Japan with my Japanese husband trying to make sense of the crazy Japanese world we live in! We welcomed our first son in December 2009 (Noah) and a second son in January 2011, 2 months premature (Shion). I am working hard at raising them to be confident, bilingual, happy kids!

Lulu, sooo cute! I really like working with little kids, especially in Japan, because they just treat you like you’re a person, not something strange! Plus I found it really good Japanese practice – the littlies I met seemed to think I was just a different kind of Japanese person and chatted away!! Too cute!
