Macro Monday…

I would like to say Wordless Wednesday has failed me, but the truth is I have failed myself with that due to my sporadic Wordless Wednesday photo posts.

Jo, from Jumping Overboard, has been posting a “Macro Monday” photo each week for a little while now and her photos have always been fantastic. There is also a group on flickr I have discovered (after a quick google!) so from this week I hope to join in. I just hope it lasts longer than my Wordless Wednesday adventures or my self portrait month which was meant to go for 365 days.

I do not  have nearly enough macro photos in my collections as Jo obviously has but I will be trying to build it up over the next couple of months. Especially after I get my new baby for Christmas- yes that is right, Santa answered my prayers & I went with mum the other day to purchase an Olympus E520 (!) DSLR camera. The macro on my current camera, while better than some, is not as good as the one on my new camera.

I would also like to take this time to say how sorry I am to hear of the horrific experience my good friend Benay had to go through yesterday when traveling back from Kobe to Shizuoka. I know she is extremely shaken up & my thoughts are with her. I am so glad that Naoki was there to help her through it…..It must have been terrible. I love you Nay, I hope your week gets better & that you can scrub those images from your mind.
