Monday through Friday, I sleep from 10pm to 5:30 am, so....is that 7 and a half hours sleep? I think that's 7 and a half good hours of sleep. Weekends I get way more...like 8-9 hours sleep. So, I am feeling okay with sleep.

Now when I had a newborn babe. Oh forget it. Ha ha ha. I barely got no sleep at all. And napped when the babes napped.

And sorry Lulu for the confusion on my blog. Guess I should have reread it before publishing it. : )

I would love more sleep and know it would be better for me but I am surviving (just) on about five interrupted hours of sleep.

Have the kids before you get used to nice long nights of sleep!! I am thankful we are getting the three small kids thing overwith in a ralatively short time. It would be harder going back to the sleep deprived thing after a long time!! That said though you and Shun might be blessed with a child that sleeps all night from three weeks. I want me one of those. I CAN NOT wait to get my nights back.

I get about 8 hours sleep a day and I really don't feel like it is enough. Well, it's definitely doesn't feel like its enough when I have to wake up in the morning. Although I do find that if I can get myself to bed earlier than 10.30pm, I wake up feeling more refreshed than normal even if I didn't sleep for 8 hours... weird.

I get about 6 - 7 everyday. I only take a nap if I've had less than that or I did something really physical in the day. I'd say that a good measue would be if you're alert and not sleepy during the day, then you've had enough sleep.

I read that people who sleep too much (more than 8 hours) or too little (4 hours or less) are more likely to die younger than people who get between 6-8 hours. How true this is, I don't know but it's food for thought really isn't it!

P.S. It's exactly 1 month til my wedding! AND our working holiday visas for the UK came through on Monday so it's all go go go in the burrow!

I sleep a lot - or lets put it I need a lot of sleep to function. At least 8 or 9 hours... but everyone is different. R only needs 6-7 it seems...

Not not not not looking forward to sleep depreviation in about half a year... I really think that is going to be the worst part for me.

We went to the game as well! It took me ages to understand the LBW rule. The easiest way to explain it would be if the ball hits the batsman's leg pad and they determine that, had it NOT hit the pad it would have hit the wicket and he would therefore have been out, then that is LBW (leg before wicket). The main thing is, someone has to appeal this, so it's only if the wicket keeper for example, yells that he thinks it's out, that the umpire will consider it to be out or not. It can be very hard to see until the replays, where they show it hitting the leg pad, then show the path of the ball usually smacking right through the wicket (had it continued).

I get around 7 on a normal weekday, and I've read that more than this isn't altogether necessary -- I would nap if I had the chance to, though. I'm amazed that you can do it on 5 though!

I think getting enough sleep is essential, at least 8 hours, for example if you are dieting, and not having enough sleep one tends to nibble to keep the energy going, I used to work on five hours and then I was so pumped up each night, it was hard to relax.

If you can try for at least 7 = )
