Good on you to get it done so quickly and efficiently. And how crazy is that that your dh can't be your guarantor? Oh well, sounds like it will work out fine. The paperwork is a pain in the you know what (especially for your dh) but it is a lot easier and faster than getting a spouse vise for dh in my home country. I liked changing my name. The only difference is that I didn't know you could get ALLthat done so quickly!! I got most of done pretty quick but then had to wait to officially change my name.
