I like hot weather, but I need something to take the edge off ... the ocean, mountain air, monsoon season, stuff like that. I absolutely can't stand winter, and Beijing winters are pretty bad too, really dry and intensely cold. I'm definitely more of a fan of moderate, year round climates. Kunming is called the Spring City because all 4 seasons are relatively spring-like! I have a year-long pass, I love it there so much! The four distinct seasons are one of my favorite things about Japan too! Brisbane sounds exactly like Tampa, hot 6 mths a year, only a slightly cooler winter. Is it very humid there? Florida summers are horrible, so sweaty and sticky :( We went to Showa Park today!
