So I had another haircut & colour. Will be the last one before the week before the wedding…
So here it is- It is pinned up at the moment but I didn`t really cut much off anyway since I need to be able to pin it up again for the wedding.
I took my birdcage veil (yes it is done!!!) to try on as well at the hairdressers. I love it!!!
Well better get changed (and put some make-up on seeing as in the picture above I have none on) because Shun & I have a date! Movie & dinner. Who knows maybe he will get lucky…(especially if he is paying! hehe)

You are keeping us in suspense, aren’t you? Face is looking thin, I see those collar bones making a pose. What color will your hair be for the wedding? BTW, I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but I think your natural hair color makes you 1. Look younger 2. adds a glamorous chic avant garde about you. 3. Don’t care about what I say.
I used to dye my hair but then came to love my natural hair color.
Looking nice, without makeup.
Ooohhhh enjoy your date!!
Hugely envious……
And you look great.
Very happy, too.
Hi GirlJapan, I am still losing weight. Slowly. But still losing, little bit more to go still though. How about you? My hair will probably be the same colour as above for the wedding. I am not sure you would of seen my natural colour? It has been a long while since my hair was its natural colour (kind of a light brown and dead straight) but thank you for your comments anyway. I will probably let my hair go back to its natural colour once I am back in Japan again. I can afford to dye it here but it is hard in Japan.
So far I have found no grey though, and for that I am happy. My mum went grey at 18 so I always thought I would go grey young as well.
I am rarely without make-up if I am going out. I don`t mind not wearing it though…
Heather, you snuck in!! Thank you! The date was lovely. Movie was okay (gran torino) and dinner was lovely. Italian!!!
Looking good, Lulu! It must be getting exciting now with the impending wedding-ness
Jay- Yes it is starting to sink in that in 9 weeks I will be a wife. hehe- it makes me giggle!!
I am not as excited as some brides get- I saw Bride Wars last weekend and they were freaky!
I absolutely LOVE it! The contrast with having it a little darker is really pretty =)
Do you perm or curl your hair?
Khea- they did it at the salon- the curled it with a GHD and then just sprayed it. Glad you like it. I am getting used to been dark again
You look great! Love the hair. I seriously love a short, sassy ‘do! Wish I had the face for it.
Hey Lulu! Oh.. I mean in this photo, I am liking the darker contrasts = ) Diet wise, getting there, who knows– I may not be happy with that until I am a size 2 again, but I’ll settle for having a flat tummy soon! For sures…
p.s. I don’t think you are one of those gals that “need” makeup = )
I think your hair looks gorgeous!! You are going to be such a stunning bride with your new veil and everything!! I can’t wait to see you at your wedding!
I’m glad that you enjoyed your date – the movie doesn’t really sound like my type of thing! I understand what you mean about brides turning into little witches – I was always told I was the most easiest bride people had ever worked with, lol!
wow i love your new hair!! you look gorgeous… your face looks so thin as well!!! major jealous as my face looks like a few sacks of lumpty potatos at the moment
you are going to be gorgeous at the wedding!
hope you enjoyed your dinner and a movie and shun enjoyed his (ahem) dessert
lol – sorry i couldn’t resist
Brenda- I had long hair for many years- I dont think I could ever go back though. It has been short now for 8 or 9 years!!! It is actually quite long at the moment for me…I used to keep it really short. Honestly, if you want short hair go for it- I love it!
GirlJapan- I did not take offence. Don`t worry! Thank you- I am quite liking the dark myself. I am used to been red of late (and it is still red, albeit a dark red)….at least if I keep it dark then it will grow out okay when I return to Japan if I don`t dye my hair for awhile…
I am getting down to a flat tummy too- little bit to go! Ganbare!!!!!!!
Nay- I loved the facinator/birdcage veil I got. Can`t wait for you to see it in person! So excited. Can`t believe I will be seeing you in just 9 weeks. Woohoo!!!!!!!
I can imagine that you were an easy bride- I have been really easy too. Except I am not a fan of my florist. That said, all my other vendors have been simply fantastic. I don`t see the point of getting into a tizz about things related to a wedding- it is what comes after the wedding that counts. The marriage!
Sarah- You are terrible!
We had a great dinner and movie!!! And I am sure Shun will love his dessert. haha
Lulu! You are one funky chick! Not many people can carry off all the different out there things you do to your hair, it really suits you! The dark shade is really flattering for you to. Maybe you can stock up on a few do-it-yourself hairdye kits before you go back? I’m also envious about your date! I’ve been wanting to see Grand Torrino and I haven’t had any *dessert* for ages….hehehehe
I love your funky hair. The layers are great and the streaks look cool.
Are you excited to get back to Japan?
Your hair looks great! It makes me want to go and get some colour in mine. The dark shade makes your eyes stand out.
