- Sadly, I have to say my computer. I relish the time I spend on it because it give me contact with friends and family all over the world and the answer to most questions is just a google away.
- Hanami- I am not sure if this is unimportant or not but I do love hanami almost as much as I love the blossoms. I love the hanami culture- the viewing of the flowers while eating and drinking with friends.
- Reading- I could spend most of the day reading.
- Actual post like letters or cards or packages that come in the mail instead of to my email. It is so good to get something in the mail (that isn`t a bill or ad)
- Cheese although I think this is a very important thing I love really. I miss decent cheese in this country so much. I bought some yummy smoked cheese with pepper in Niigata while with Sarah & Nay and we ate it while playing “jinsei game”
- The smell of warm bread cooking- even if I don`t do it myself (but I will) the smell in bakeries and at other`s houses that make the yummy bread.

I know port cheese but not wine cheese? I mean unless you just mean cheese you can eat with wine, then yes I remember that well.
I love wine too! ALthough obviously I am staying away from that at the moment. hehe
That smoked cheese you bought here was really really YUM!! I’ll make sure to stock up on it next time you come for a visit and we can have proper cheese and crackers.. (no wine tho sadly)
Aww… I know all these things are important to you because at one point or another we’ve talked about all of them!! I like warm baked bread too.. I bet you can’t wait to get your bread maker!!!
computers are unimportant??? Reading?? Cheese?? Bread??? Well, I guess compared with oxygen and you know shelter and *maybe* clothing they’re unimportant, but….. ;P
And as for cheese I’m an aged cheddar girl myself. And you have to try good cheese with pear slices- ohhhh wow…….

Cheese – yes since Costco came to our neck of the woods my life has improved manyfold!
I love a good sharp cheddar on a slice of fruit cake. Yum.
haha Sorry Lulu… I ate this cheese once when we went to Nappa, it was a block of cheese with wine.. bot I am digging just the wine with the cheese… I just confused myself… lol
