Weekend in photos…

This past weekend Shun & I went to Odaiba to stay in Le Daiba Hotel. We received the stay, and dinner on the hotel top floor as a wedding present from some of our friends…sort of like a second honeymoon!

Sunday afternoon we met friends in Shinjuku to catch up with Ryomei an old friend who was in town from Germany. I met Ryomei when I was on exchange at Seikei University but Ryomei is based in Germany at the moment for work and I had not seen him in 2.5 years. It was great to catch up. We were supposed to meet up at about 11am for a BBQ but due to the bad weather we ended up meeting up a bit later for dinner and drinks at an Izakaya in Shinjuku. Due to the rain on the Sunday as well, Shun and I couldn`t walk around Odaiba much so instead we went to the movies- Shun`s choice, which was the new Transformers movie. Luckily it is my choice next time!!!

Oh and what weekend would be complete without some Izakaya or eating establishment`s “Engrish”

What a kind and thoughtful gift for you and Shun to receive! I bet you loved it! Beautiful photo of the pair of you getting ready to go out! You look gorgeous! You’ve got that pregnancy glow about you now! :) The Izakaya pictures are making me homesick for Tokyo! I’m unemployed as of Tuesday so if you hear of any HR/Marketing jobs in your part of the world let me know, I’m tempted to move! Oh and the Puppy/Kitty hire stores are a classic! I wish they had those here!

Seriously? Animal rentals?? If you see a preschooler rentals business let me know… might get the girls to earn their keep. ;P

What an amazing wedding present. I would love to stay in Odaiba someday. sigh….

It looks like you both had a wonderful time in Odaiba!! You have a bunch of very special friends there – hold onto them tight!

I loved the look of your ‘mock’tail by the way – hehehe!!

Animal rental shop…. only in Japan, right?! LOL

Ohh nice pics!!! Sounds like you enjoyed your second honeymoon!!
Good to be making a few more “just the two of us memories” while you still can!!!

Hard to believe that in 6 months there won’t be much time for that anymore ;)

Look at you, looking cute and swank as ever in that maxi dress you are sporting! Fab pictures Lulu!

P.S. I just realized I forgot to put the gift certificate in with the card = (

I am so sorry, please forgive me!!!! I will get it out asap!

A “love love” weekend in Odaiba! How fabulous! I wish I’d done more of that kind of thing before KK arrived on the scene. Try and do as many couple things as possible before your little one arrives, you won’t get much time afterwards and if you do all you’ll do it talk about the baby. Trust me…I know :-)

When is your actual due date?

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my blog I enjoyed your pictures. Japan? Nice! So you speak Japanese I assume. I have enough problems with Spanish and that has the same alphabet.

Looks like you guys had lots of fun, makes me wish Takashi and I had more than just Sundays together (since I work on Saturdays and Mondays).
