Baby Sakura and Niigata…

Our internet is now on at the new place- I have a couple weeks of emails and blogs to catch up on and a few blog posts myself to do but wanted to get up some photos of baby Sakura before anything.

Nay & I went to Niigata on Saturday to visit with Sarah, Ryohei and to meet baby Sakura. By the time we got there on Saturday Sarah and Sakura were both pretty exhausted after a full day of visitors but it was still very nice to meet Sakura and see Sarah. For someone who had just given birth she was looking pretty damn fine!

Ryohei was a fantastic papa- he came to pick us up from the bus stop and as soon as we got back to the hospital he picked up his little girl to lay her down to bed. He was so good with her and a natural father. Sarah had said she had been having some issues with breastfeeding but not even a week into Sakura`s life and she seemed to be doing much better than I expected and definitely much better than I will be at that point.

Sakura was as cute as a button. Nay and I were both snapping away!!! The Sunday was a little better as we had more time and Sarah and Sakura were both a lot genkier!!! Most of these photos were taken on Sunday. You can tell I am such a proud auntie!!!

Sarah, Ryohei and Sakura are coming to Chiba/Tokyo the second week of September to organize an American passport for Sakura and they will stay with us. I am already counting down the weeks until I can see them all again!

I missed your in your absence from the Internet! Lovely photos! Sounds like you had a great time! There is nothing like holding a newborn! Babies grow so fast! The next time you see her she’ll be totally different! By the way is that a new watch you are wearing in the photos? I really like it! But I think we have already established that we have the same taste in Jewellery with the Pandora Bracelet! xxoo Katie

I was sooooo happy that you guys came up to visit!! I can’t wait to see you in Sept!!! I think we must be bonded for life as I doubt there are two other people I would show my “jets of milk” to as I squeezed the life out of my boobs into a bottle :P

Glad you got the net back!!!! We’ve missed you ;)

Sounds like you had a great visit Lulu! Can you believe that in about 20 weeks or so both of us will have newborns of our own!?

And ditto on the babies changing soooo fast. Even in the first month, it seems like they grow up so fast. The newborn stage is way too short! Sometimes I wish I could time warp back to my son’s first month, he was such a cutie!

Great pics. The one of you and Sakura is lovely – and not long until you have similar pic but with your own bubs!! Hope everything is going well.
