Lovely photos! It looks like you live in a nice area. Walks with newborns are fun! I wonder how different they are accompanied by an older sibling. I guess I will find out soon enough :-)

The negi field- I have my fingers crossed it's down wind from you. Used to live in a negi producing area and the smell when they harvest- whoa.....

Love the stillness of everything and Spring will be such a surprise waiting to see what everything looks like with leaves on!

I love the pictures~! It`s all sort of serene looking. I`m possibly moving to Tokyo next year, and one of my biggest fears is that I won't have access to this sort of simple beauty and space. I grew up in the country, so I`m worried that I might go crazy in the big city.

Kelly- I am not sure about the statues- I saw a few- some were near a Christian church but they have nothing to do with Christianity as far as I know. They remind me of bigger versions of some statues seen in shrines.

I am not sure if the photo is Sakura, if it is it is certainly not standard sakura- it is way too early for it to be Sakura here really as they shouldn`t come out til well after winter is over and we are only heading into winter now so I am not sure. Ume bloom in Feb, and Sakura usually bloom late March so I don`t know what is happening! Your mum`s Sakura is at the right time of year- during spring they should bloom! I know the ones in Canberra that Japan gave the government bloom in October usually, after winter has passed in Australia.

The statues are cute...I wonder what they are for? Do you think they are some kind of god?

It looks like a sunny day, and the photo's are wonderful...really make me miss Japan!

Love seeing all the veggies growing... ahh nature is wonderful.

The sakura are really pretty as always!! My mum's here in Aussie just started blooming, so it must be on Japan time as we are entering summer here. We were trying to figure it out, but you just made me realise, thanks! :)
