It`s all sort of serene looking. I`m possibly moving to Tokyo next year, and one of my biggest fears is that I won't have access to this sort of simple beauty and space. They remind me of bigger versions of some statues seen in shrines. Ume bloom in Feb, and Sakura usually bloom late March so I don`t know what is happening! Your mum`s Sakura is at the right time of year- during spring they should bloom! I know the ones in Canberra that Japan gave the government bloom in October usually, after winter has passed in Australia.
