Jay- We will try to stick with it then! Are you watching Flash Forward? That is a new drama that Shun & I like (very hard for me to find something that he will actually sit and watch without subtitles...Used to watch 24, then Heroes and Lost and now Flash Forward)

Kel- I know I should but I don`t use a 家計簿　（For non-Japanese speakers it is read kakeibo meaning a household expense book- kind of like a notebook for in and outs of money- very popular in Japan!) - off to check out your post though. We did write all our expenses for one month the first month we were testing our budget- just so we could adjust accordingly. I use excel to keep track of some of our money expenses etc but just averages. I am not very good at it!

I was going to mention something along the lines of Heroes is worth sticking with -- sometimes it seems to drop off a little, but I would have ditched it long ago if it wasn't worth continuing with, it really makes you rethink everything and everyone you know!

How cute that you both commented first! Great couples think alike?

Amanda: I was semi kidding about the detox right after birth. I doubt I would eat any of the vegetarian meals prepared by my clinic anyway and, well, I would much prefer to make my own vegetarian food so a detox might be in order when I get serious about losing baby weight. Good to start fresh and all.

The budget for us was a big thing. Shun & I did not combine finances til about a month or two before we married- it wasn`t that we paid for everything seperately but we pretty much kept our money seperate so combining and readjusting to each other from that point of view has been interesting. Hardest thing for us right now is one salary...Would be great if I could bring in abit of extra cash!

Jay- I have season 1,2 & 3 and we have watched all of season 1 & 2 and are halfway through season 3. The aim is to get to end of season 3... I will then wait til season 4 is over and download it then to watch with Shun...or we might wait til it comes out here with subtitles. To complete the goal we have to get to end of season 3 and I think we have 6 or 7 episodes left but to be honest we do not like it as much as we did in the first 2 seasons...

When you say "watch the rest of Heroes" do you mean watch the rest of it until you are up to date with the current series being shown, or just the rest of Season 1, or 2? I watch the current season on surfthechannel.com.

And you should totally go to the cinema before Goma-chan arrives, I expect he would enjoy it :)

Woohoo for sticking to the budet! IT's never easy, but usually worth it, in the end :)

Just a guess, from what I've heard of detoxing, right after giving birth probably isn't the best time, since you'll be tired enough as it is, and detoxing is notorious for running people down.

Hope you start feeling a bit better soon :)
