Glad Goma's doing well. Hope for your sake he's not TOO big. Sorry to hear about the itchyness... hope it eases up soon. Can't wait to meet you're little Goma. <3

Take it from the girl with the not-even-2-hours-first-labour: WALK. LOTS. lol I walked for over 2 hours everyday and did a set of squats a few times throughout the day..also leg stretches and pelvic tilts for the last 2 weeks. I'm sure they helped =)

Good job getting your shopping done, must be a bit of a relief eh! One less thing to worry about and plan for! Take care!

I think I may have mentioned this before but my friend down here in Shizuoka also got a really bad rash during her pregnancy. The only thing was for her it appeared right at the beginning and it didn’t go away till after she gave birth. She said it was so hard to enjoy her pregnancy because she was just constantly scratching herself till she bled… I feel for you!! I hope the cream at least soothes the itchiness a little.

Ohh, I hope everyone is right about walking improving stamina needed for labour – with the amount of walking I am doing everyday I should have enough stamina… well I can always dream, can’t I? LOL

I bet it’s a relief to have had the swine flu vaccination now. I still have another 3 weeks before I can get mine and I am terrified of getting sick before then…

I ditto anchan with the walking. As well as building up that all important stamina it is good chance to stretch your legs and get out alone and enjoy the fresh air;)

So happy that you have been able to enjoy your pregnancy until full term.Bugger about the rash;I had one with Annie but not that severe and it didn't last. The human body is one freaky device!

Thinking of you and enjoy doing your Christmas decorations.Haven't even started thinkig about them yet.Maybe next week ...

My due date is actually coming up next Tuesday and this baby is showing no signs of being ready to come out so far. It sounds like maybe your pre-term labor meds worked a bit toooo well, but extra time baking is good for the baby too. But I too am pretty over this whole 3rd trimester thing, so I feel you.

achan is right, walking is good. I walk tons and DS was born after about 5 hours of labor, so I am a firm believer in staying as active as possible (but not overdoing it of course). My doctor keeps going on about how I'll probably go even faster this time like that's a bad thing, but I'm like "I hope so!" I had an ultrasound yesterday (only my 4th of the whole pregnancy actually) and I was also being told this baby is big. DS weighed 3350g when he was born at 41weeks 5days, so I'm wondering if this baby is really going to be that much bigger than DS was? The size measurements can be pretty innacurate at this stage though, so I'm trying not to really think about the size so much.

Anyhow, isn't it exciting that we'll be meeting our babies so soon? And who knows, you still might go before me at this point! :D

Wow you are a genki full term mummy aren't you!!! My doctor said that walking helps build stamina that is needed during labor so keep it up. Not many first borns manage to arrive in the world in less than 5 hours so do as much as you can (safely)

If your itch is pregnancy related then it should disappear after goma chan is born when all those hormones disappear-that's another thing to look forward to.

Isn't the waiting in the final weeks tedious! It makes the previous 35 weeks feel like they've just flown by and now time is standing still....thinking of you
