Definately that gaijin booby. Isn't it amazing that you can feel proud of being told you have such good milk supply!

I can't talk about sleep - although 6pm to 1am would be considered a miracle around here and hub may possibly even think I had shot the baby with a horse tranquilizer to achieve such sleep.

When Ryu turns into a fussy bugger with sleep (more than usual that is) Granny K just tells me it is because his brain is growing. I wish my brain was growing everytime I have a bad night's sleep!

These bad days are here to remind us of the good ones.

Good work mama :) I noticed that whenever Alex was introduced to something new or different from the little routine that she knew at that stage she would cry..(ah the wonders of hindsight) at the time I just thought she was being a baby, but there was a pattern and it continues now. Whenever she learns or hears something new or is in a new situation she gets all excited and its difficult to get her to sleep during the day but she goes down eventually :)

Well all I can say is that just be glad he sleeps at night. At least thats the stance I take with Misora. It could always be worse and she could refuse to sleep at night as well like those first few weeks with her. I do hope things get better for you, the only way I can get Misora to take a nap is to go for a walk (though she did sleep 2 hours on me this evening, couldn`t do anything (as like Noah was today if you put her down somewhere she is bound to wake up) but at least she was asleep.

I don`t know why they don`t think you should take a bath here. The only thing I could think of is that the Japanese tend to share their bath water so perhaps if you were the last person to enter the bath you would be more likely to get some sort of infection in that general area. I know in the States they suggest sitzs (spelling?) baths to help the healing.

Wow, Noah weighs more at his one month check up than Misora did at hers and she was born 400g heavier. Good job boobie milk!!

Babies have a bad habit of changing their routine just when you think you have it all figured out! I'm hoping this is just a transition phase and that Noah isn;t going to become one of those babies that doesn;t like to sleep during the day! I would have laughed at the doctor saying "make love" too! ha ha! Really great to hear that Noah's stats are so great! :)
