Another lovely weekend was had in which we met up with Sarah & Nay, attended a 2nd birthday party for Cassie`s daughter Nanami, and had a lovely bloggy girl catch-up on Monday with the girls (Sarah, Nay, Cassie, Melanie & Khea- although unfortunately Sarah, Ryohei & Sakura could not stay very long) and the kiddies. A few favourite photos from the weekend…

What a difference 4.5 months makes- Noah & Sakura make friends with each other!

Grown-ups talk and the kiddies play

Was such a lovely weekend as I said but we were exhausted after it was over so today we just chilled out at home and caught up on some play time just the two of us (Noah & I) while mama (me) caught up on some laundry and some chill out time! The good news is that Noah has been a bit of a champion sleeper most nights this past week waking up only once usually during the night (anywhere between 1-4am)…He is bathed and fed and put to bed between 7:30pm an 8:30pm and then sleeps for 5-8 hours usually and then goes down for another couple hours- today he slept in until 8:30am (after a 4am wake up, change and feed) but that could of been because of the busy busy days we have had lately.
My friend Clare (bridesmaid from wedding) arrives from Australia Thursday morning and will be with us for one night before heading down to Kyoto and then back with us from Sunday for two more nights and then she is off on an adventure to England for a couple of years. She of course hasn`t met Noah yet but is excited to meet him and I am so excited to see her!!! We have been friends since the first day of highschool where we met when we were 12!
So tomorrow will be another day spent cleaning up, cooking up a storm (want to cook lasange and soup so that on Thursday and Friday nights I can just heat up food and perhaps make a salad- plus I meant to make brownies today but didn`t get to it so will try them tomorrow!) and making sure everything is ready for my next visitor!

Thanks for having us Laura! We had a great time and Sakura sure slept well at your place… interesting…
Hope you have a relaxing couple of days before Claire comes and another great weekend ahead of you!
It was disappointing to not be able to spend more time with you all but hopefully there will be a next time sometime in April!!!
Glad to hear Noah is getting some good sleep habits lately… that really just makes mummys day go a bit more smooth!
What a fun time and what great pictures. That first picture of Nana is such a keeper! And Noah the party animal looks like he had a great time. Hope you are all rested up and ready for your next guests. sigh… love where I live but more than a little jealous of all the meeting up you guys do!
What great photos! Lovely mother and baby meet-up! It makes me feel a little envious too! But no doubt Luka would storm in and make all the bubs cry! They are some really adorable babies too
I know what you mean about exhaustion. It’s great to do fun things, but it really is tiring! Expecially with children and when you are nursing, etc. Hope you get some chance to relax and then be excited about your next visitor. Ooh, and I am cooking lasagne today too!
Sara- How funny that she slept well here this time?! Noah had a bad night last night but he did settle okay and slept til 2:30am it was just after that he had issues!
It is a shame you couldn`t stay long on Monday but you will have plenty of opportunity to catch up with us all come April! You will have so many people to see you wont know what to do with yourself!!
Noah does sleep much better now than he used to- I am wondering when he will stop napping so much though-at the moment he has at LEAST 4 naps a day, about 45 mins each. Currently as I type though he is having his 5th nap of the day!!!
Heather- I don`t quite live in Tokyo but it is easy enough to catch up with those that do which is always fun! I am lucky to have so many great friends close by!
The photos of Nana are great hey! She looks like such a little darling!
Laura A- The lasange is done! I will eat my piece later but there will be plenty of left over for Shun`s dinner, bento and probably our dinner tomorrow night. Yeah I love catching up wtih friends and going out but I have enjoyed my last two days spent mainly at home as well- even if all I did was chill out, clean and cook- hehe! I have to meet my friend at about 8am tomorrow morning at the train station so it will be an early morning but I think we will just be around home tomorrow so a another fairly chilled day I think!
Looks like an AWESOME weekend!
Everyone looks they were having so much fun! I used the love the little get-togethers we had when I lived in Japan. I also love the ones we have been having in various places around Europe lately as it is great to be able to talk to people who really “get” it. Where is your friend going to be in England? You should give her my e-mail address and tell her that if she ever needs anything, to look me up!
Great photos and it sounds like you had such a fun weekend! It’s funny that Noah is the only boy among so many little girl babies. He will be a popular boy in the future
Yay that Noah is sleeping so well! Liam was a horrible sleeper and still isn’t the best. He sleeps in which I love but we still get visits from him in the middle of the night or early morning. Fingers crossed Miss M is a better sleeper.
Enjoy your visit with you friend!
Looks like another great weekend! The kids are all so adorable
Looks like you all had a wonderful time – it’s great that you have a close group of friends. Noah is growing up so quickly – I can’t believe how fast time is flying!
