Idea from Gala Darling
A quick TILT before bed!
- Love that so many Japan based bloggers are getting in on the Things I love Thursday action!
- Hearing that my friend Lucy`s article which features me and my little family was published in “Brisbane News” this week. It was about people originally from Brisbane who now live overseas.
- Cookies
- Shun`s project is now pretty much over meaning he will start coming home before 1am- YAY! (Last night it was 11:30pm, getting earlier!)
- My brother & Gem arriving from Brisbane tomorrow
- Lots of fun plans coming up over the next month!
- New scrapbooking supplies (that should arrive tomorrow)
- Pay day!
- Successful cooking of new recipes- last night African Peanut Stew and tonight Apricot Chicken in the slow cooker.
- Noah laughing when I said the word “penis” – yes, it is a funny word little Koala munchkin! (and yes your mama is that immature!)
- Seeing Noah roll over for the first time by himself and the look of shock on his face- then Shun being home to witness him to roll over the second time (less than 2 minutes later) and hearing Shun yell out “Mou ikai yatta yo, mou ikai yatta” in a really excited voice! Then having him roll over again and again tonight as well. He just kept rolling over everytime I would turn him back onto his tummy.
- News that my mum might be coming to visit us in Japan again in June or July- did I mention this already perhaps?
- Jodi Picoult books!
- News that four different people I know will be visiting Japan between July-September of this year!
- Movie watching and wine with Cat on Sunday.
- Seeing James` new place and an old friend Suzanne from university exchange days since she was visiting from Germany.
- Cleaning- weird to love cleaning (for me anyway) but something nice about having a clean house.
- Noah moving down to less naps a day, but longer ones. Was wondering when this would happen- he went from five a day, to four yesterday to only three today. I think he will probably stay at three for awhile now but we will see…
- Going to meet my friend Eva and another friend (Des, new friend!) tomorrow and their babies for the first time! Eva`s little boy was born less than a week before Noah but we haven`t caught up yet- so excited!
Told you it would be a quick list this week!

i didn’t do a “things i love thursday” this week
but i’ll tell you one thing I did enjoy –
our conversation this afternoon and our first “date” for april!! i’ve already got it penciled in my planner. can’t wait
hahaha noah laughed when you said penis?? already enjoying the dirty jokes – takes after his mum a bit…………… hehehe
night night!
I’d love to see that article when you get a copy! How neat!
Hope you have fun with your brother+, and all your dates with friends… though you know Easter will be the most kickass, right? =P
Love hearing about Noah’s (SUPER FAST) progress… he’s such a sweetie, but I realized when I saw you guys, I don’t think I really held him!? We’ll have to do something about that..hehe
I’m currently enjoying the joy that was “PAYDAY” as well =) Love the 25th <3
I hope you have a wonderful time with your brother and Gem!! To introduce your son to his uncle is going to be a wonderful experience
I love Jodi Picoult books too. I’ve asked Naoki to buy me one for my stay in hospital – although I doubt I will have that much time to sit around and read. If I do have free time, it will probably be spent gazing at Baby N and wondering how we made such a thing, LOL!
Love hearing all about Noah and his progress
He is definitely a fast developer, isn’t he!! I wonder if either you and Shun were exceptionally fast?!
Glad that Shun’s super busy period is over. YAY for being able to come home early (well for him anyway…)
Hope we can have a chat sometime soon X0X0
Having just spent a year on exchange in Japan, it was a delight to see the article in Brisbane News and couldn’t resist visiting the blog afterwards. Reading your stories brings back fond and bittersweet memories. Best of luck for all your future adventures!!
Sara, Khea, Nay- thanks as usual!
Anna- I didn`t realize the article put my blog address? I am not even sure if Lucy knows it but she might- thanks for stopping by though! I guess it wouldn`t be hard to find me on the internet since while I use the name Lulu I use Shun & Noah`s names as they are.
Where were you on exchange? Did you come via Griffith?
