I am late with this update- probably because I can`t cross anything off. Just continued with a couple of things like updating each month, maintaining the weight loss and also we applied for credit cards but that was only a couple of days ago. I also have plans to go to the cinema with a friend maybe this weekend- not sure if I will be able to or not though.
Same as I have in the previous months for 2010 I will list the books I read as well.
Take A Change on Me- Jill Mansell
My Darling is a foreigner (ダーリンは外国人) In English (Saori Oguri)
Heavenstone Secrets - V.C Andrews
7 steps to raising a bilingual child— Naomi Steiner & Susan L Hayes
Also read a couple of magazines!
Now I am reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and am so far really enjoying it! I think Nooh recommended it originally!
What a dull post! Perhaps I will try and write again later tonight once Noah is down for the night (he is napping now but due to wake up any minute) and post cute photos of his first rice cereal experience!

I have ダーリンは外国人1 and 2 and ダーリンの頭ン中 in Japanese if you want to borrow them.
Oh YAY! I am so glad that you picked up Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!!! It is addictive and the best read I have had in ages! I am sure you will love it!!! Looking forward to the rice cereal pics!!!
looks like lots of reading getting done to me
very jealous!!
I have read the ダーリンは外国人 in Japanese – didnt know they had it in English too. The japanese was pretty easy, so it might even be a good book for you to use to studt with, esp after you have read it in Eng (I used to do that sometimes,. then at least u know how it goes.)
ooh, am interested in reading the girl with dragon tatoo. and 7 steps to raising a bilingual child. any good hints in it?
just out of interest, what do you do with books you have read? wanna share??????
Melanie- The book is actually in both languages. Shun read teh Japanese and then I read the English cos I am lazy- each page has both languages though. Thanks for the offer.
Nooh- I definitely am enjoying it!
TJ- what sort of books do you like? I pass a lot of them onto Nay, sometimes Melanie and sometimes Sarah borrows some too. I keep some of my books but most of them I just pass on (or lend them out!)
I definitely have some I can pass on to you too. I have HEAPS of books!
Oh and have you read the Rei Shimura seriies? I have them all- they are great. If you want to borrow them let me know!
The bilingual book was good- you can borrow it if you want? It was definitely more for Americans or others living in America…just because of the way it was written. Still interesting though. Not sure if I would call it helpful or not though…
Will pass on the girl with the dragon tattoo to you once I am done with it if you want. I already have the next two on my shelf to read as well.
