2 weeks ago Shion couldn`t crawl properly, he couldn`t sit up by himself, he was doing squeels and such but no real constanant babbling sound, he still wasn`t interested in food and his tongue reflex made him spit it out and he certainly wasn`t pulling himself up into a standing position.
Now he is getting faster by the day, crawling everywhere, sitting by himself fine {and moving from crawling position into a sitting position and vice versa} and has started to pull himself up on stuff albeit a little unsteadily. Yesterday he spent most of the day saying mamamamamamdadadadadamamamamama and now he loves to eat although he likes to feed himself. I wish I could of done BLW with him but was warned against it because he was premmie. Shion gags a lot still {on mush!}…
I thought I would have so much longer before he became mobile but I was so wrong! Noah is not liking the mobile Shion stage so much- if he is sitting Noah will push him over. If he is crawling then Noah tries to “beat” him to whatever he is going for. Oh and this morning Shion tried some vegemite on toast and Noah got angry and tried to take it away because apparently Shion shouldn`t eat toast. Shion also likes to try and stand up using Noah as balance…and that usually means holding onto Noah`s hair to do so.
Who said premmie babies are slow? He is not even 9 months old yet {not quite 7 months with his age adjusted}…..

He’s obviously figured it out he needs to be mobile to be his own man against his older brother. Mwahah – poor Shion and poor Noah. The adjustment might take a few weeks but then Noah will come on board and realize there are so many more things he can do with a mobile Shion

Go Shion go! Maybe its because he has an older brother to catch up with that he is getting mobile earlier than a premmie baby would? Nothing like a bit of competition to spur a person on!
What a quick little guy! Poor Noah though, hahaha competition here I come! It’ll be so neat once they can play an run around together though hey? Almost!
Wow, go Shion go! So many developments at one time – he was just storing them up! I’m thinking it’s time to start baby-proofing as it’s better to get it done now rather than when she’s already on the move…
