Sometimes I like to remind myself why I am so lucky and why I have a lot to be thankful for. There is always something to be thankful for…
- Christmas season is here! Our Christmas tree went up yesterday and the boys helped to decorate and put it together. So far they have not been TOO hands on with it – I don`t mind them touching but draw the line at pulling things off and so far this is going well.
- Thankful for wonderful friends, especially my mama friends in my area. We had a Chiba Peanuts meet-up on Friday and Stephanie & I can not believe that we have been running the playgroup for more than 2.5 years now since our first boys were just 4 months old or so. Yesterday we had a mini birthday party for another friend`s son! Someone who I met originally online as well which is why I am also thankful for the…..
- Internet!
- Thankful for patience. I seemed to have found a little bit lately!
- Thankful for skype chats with my mum, brother`s gf Gemma and hopefully my brother this afternoon too. Also regular phone calls to my dad {who is doing well right now!} since he wouldn`t know how to use skype even if he did have a computer!
- Thankful for planning. I am good at organizing stuff and it helps a lot at this time of year!
- Grateful for my kids relationship with each other- they are becoming “friends” more an more each day as well as brothers. They enjoy each others company, get up to mischief together {this is not a new thing though!} and love to hug each other goodnight.
- Thankful for having extra work lately- the extra money will definitely be helping over the Christmas season. As well as my teaching I have had some editing/native check with in the last couple of weeks too which is great since I can do it from home while the kids sleep.
Thankful for a lot of things. One of my babies is awake from their nap now though so I better sign off.

It sounds like there are lots of good things in your life right now! So glad to hear your dad is doing well too.
It must be great having your boys start to play with each other and be friends, I am finding the 3 year gap is a big one when it comes to that.

So many good things! I’m glad to hear you have extra work and happy boys. That patience thing isn’t always easy either. I’m working on that! Enjoy the Christmas season!
