Turning Japanese
I used to love the 1980’s hit "Turning Japanese" by the Vapours…and then earlier this year i found out what it meant…Click here to see the lyrics and also what the song actually means…
But today i looked at myself in the mirror and thought…OMG…I am turning Japanese (hence where the above song title mention made it into the post)…not that i could ever physically turn Japanese, and nor would i want to as i am quite content at having aussie blood but when i saw what i had dressed myself in and my hair this morning i thought Uh Oh…I was wearing black half tights, with a short skirt over top and a singlet with a cardigan over it….It is more the skirt and tights thing that had me worried…and the bun piled really high on top of my head with milllions of bobby pins holding the rest of the hair in place.
I have already picked a pair of jeans and a t-shirt to wear tomorrow (will have to stop waking up 15 minutes before i leave and pulling random clothes out of my closet to avoid this problem in the future)….I do want to say in my defence that the shoes i wore out today were not high heeled…nor did i wear colourful socks…(I certainly didn’t wear both together) If i had though i would be a lot more worried about turning Japanese….
